ArcheAge Chronicles
November 3, 2026
ArcheAge Chronicles is an open-world action MMORPG from XLGAMES. Steam Early Access for Windows opened on November 3, 2026, at 3:00 PM PST. The US package is $29.99.
Three regions at Early Access
The store introduction puts the player in Auroria during the Age of Pioneers, joining a trading company and investigating an airship crash. A demo trailer note places that story 50 years after the original ArcheAge.
Early Access opens most of Diamond Shores, together with Gylden Ruins and Astron Plains. The demo covered only a small part of Diamond Shores. Gylden Ruins and Astron Plains were not in that demo slice.
The three regions together are more than 60 areas, about twenty times the demo, with over a thousand exploration and collection points.
These three plates name the Early Access regions. They are not a coordinate map.
Classes you can start
The Next Fest demo made Warrior, Ranger, Berserker, and Mage playable. In the demo each of those classes had two of its weapons.
The posts that name a weapon still only attach the longsword to Warrior and the hatchets to Ranger. Classes stay gender-locked at the November 3 launch. A female Warrior is planned for the first update in December, and the stated goal is to remove every gender lock by full release.
An October 8 development build names four classes in Korean and does not pair those names with Warrior, Ranger, Berserker, or Mage.
Combat and channels
Store combat covers melee, ranged, and magic, using jump, fall, roll, dash, block, and parry. The US store page is Windows only. The launch-day note says Linux and Steam Deck are not officially supported.
The October 4 note describes standard channels, where players cannot attack each other, and PvP channels switched at a Nui Statue. Monster kills in a PvP channel earn 10 to 15 percent bonus EXP.
The October 29 letter says parties stay together across Peace and Conflict Channels.
Weapons, stats, and the store
Eight weapon names sit on the register. Gematsu reports three regions, four classes, and eight weapons, two for each class. The posts do not publish that full pairing.
Gladius is a Warrior weapon in the first update, not in the November 3 set. Longbow, Wavesword, Warhammer, and Elemental Staff are named on October 29 without a class.
Greatsword appears as the second tree in a Fighter example, and that example is not a fifth demo class.
The six primary stats are Strength, Agility, Constitution, Intelligence, Talent, and Endurance. One point always buys one stat. Every weapon has its own trait tree, and trait points come from Raeven's Coilstones near bosses.
XL Games describes the game as buy-to-play, with no in-game cash shop at Early Access. During Early Access a character cannot move to another server, and different servers cannot play together.
The store lists hunting, gathering, housing, farming, and crafting, then trading with other players. Official store languages are English, Korean with full audio, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese. Japanese and Brazilian Portuguese are machine translations and are not officially supported. Steam Family Sharing is not supported.
